Kathryn Ann Duval, NCTMB, ACMT
trained and graduated from the St. Croix Center for the Healing Arts, Hudson, Wisconsin, April 2002. Kathy practices therapeutic massage to help people improve the quality of their lives. She is committed to helping people's healthcare needs through education and through the philosophy of mind, body and spirit in healing oneself. She has completed various workshops and seminars through the years: Geriatric/Pregnancy/Childbirth/Infant Massage instruction. Myofascial Release classes instructed by John Barnes, PT. She attended the Upledger Institute seminar workshops on Lymphatic Drainage I and Visceral Massage I. She has taken Thai Yoga massage classes: Level I and II plus Thai Table massage workshop through Radiant Health. She has attended Jones Institute classes on Strain-Counter Strain for the Spine and Extremities and the Women's Wellness workshop/seminar in Sedona, Arizona by John Barnes, PT. She also has taken Eric Dalton's structural alignment workshops and Haase Myotherapy deep tissue workshop. Kathy has taught community education classes with New Richmond and Baldwin, Wisconsin consisting of aromatherapy, head, neck and shoulder and couples massage. She began teaching at the St. Croix Center for the Healing Arts in Hudson, Wisconsin, December 2006 for the the Business/Ethics Communication Class and in 2010 the Deep Tissue class.
Besides her therapeutic business she does home care, nursing home, assisted living care, health fairs, employee appreciation days and company picnics.
Kathy is married to her husband Jack of 35 years and they live in rural New Richmond, Wisconsin. They have three grown daughters April, Karen and Jill and four grandchildren: Isabel, Carter, Camryn and Nathan. She enjoys her leisure time reading, riding bike, sewing herbal supports, spending time with family, grandchildren, friends and teaching.
Kathy's plans are to continue more educational opportunities with additional classes/workshops/seminars and to further her committment to helping people's healthcare needs.
